Mark Heath has a fine melon-shaped head, the consequence of reading Peanuts while his skull was still soft. The shape led to his love of comic strips, and eventually Spot the Frog. It ran from 2004 to mid-2008 in various newspapers, and now resides at comics.com.
Mark also draws cartoons that depend less on frogs. His work has appeared in Reader's Digest, First For Women, Saturday Evening Post, American Scientist, and other magazines.
Visit ebay or any used book shop and you can find his first book, Drawing Cartoons.
He plays trumpet on occasion. You can hear one of those occasions in the theme for Spot the Frog Radio Theater. The backup band is Garage Band.
Mark Keith -- his nom de plume whenever he gives his name on the phone -- lives in New England, with Mary, Willy, and Belle. One of those three is his wife.
